A.Ş. was created in 2001 from the merger of the Turkish sales office of Gretsch-Unitas Baubeschlaege GmbH from Germany, a 100-years old global pioneer in the window / door fittings and automatic entrance systems, and PKD (member of the Turkish ENKA Group), the market leader in the Turkish window fittings sector.

Since then, G.U Yapı A.Ş., has not only become the leader of the Turkish window fittings market, but with its continuous growth in production, sales and logistics, has successfully become the gateway of the Group to the Middle East, the Gulf Region, Iran and Turkic countries. More recently, the company also focused with the G.U BKS brand in the field of door hardware and automatic entrance systems, and gained a major market share within a short period of time.

Today, the company not only sells G.U groups products in its markets, but also manufactures high quality fittings for worldwide use at the production site in Samandıra, İstanbul. 400 employees work at this site which expands on a 8000 m² area, and where the HQs, warehouse and a large showroom are also located. With its broad distribution network and competent technical support, G.U products and services reach whole Turkey and many distant points in the export markets.
