Auf die geöffnete Klebstoffkartusche wird das GU-Mischrohr aufgeschraubt. Durch Betätigung der Pistole, je nach Kartu- scheneinheit, wird der Klebstoff im GU-Mischrohr homogen gemischt. Die Verarbeitungszeit beträgt ~ 45 min/RT. Bei kurzen Arbeitsunterbrechungen innerhalb der Verarbeitungszeit wird bei erneuter Dosierung wieder frischer Klebstoff ins GU-Mischrohr gebracht. So kann über einen ganzen Arbeits- tag mit einem GU-Mischrohr gearbeitet werden. Nach Arbeitsende verbleibt das benutzte GU-Mischrohr auf der Kartuscheneinheit; bei neuem Arbeitsbeginn wird es ersetzt; jetzt erfolgt wieder der Sicherheitsschuss, ~ 20 g Klebstoff, bevor weiter geklebt wird.
